13. Sergio Mazzola - Basing on other designs I calculated other measures for a mini tesla coil that should give bigger sparks. Your capacitor, with little adjustements, can be used instead of a leyden jar? What is the difference between these two capacitors?

16. Spirit Soul - Hello,much neat, clean and impressive.video. I woukd want to ask.you, you missed couple of parts for laymen,

    1) where did the top and the bottom.wire of the secondary coil go? You should have included connectivity of words of secondary coil with the aluminum ball top

    2) connective of primary coil with capacitors and the spark Gap, it's not clear which one goes where

    3) Apart from.the copper magnetic wire, you didn't.mention the name.of wires built the capacitor and primary coil with?

    Pls do throw light on these and I shall be obliged. Apart from lighting bulbs, what can it be used for?

19. Christos Ioannidis - i have seen the big one in serbia once and i used it.They told me that it was 1060 volts.But i was standing on a metal floor and it doesn't mater how many volts they are

21. activeproandrey - And again I stumble on a misleading video. This is NOT a tesla coil, this is a pulsed DC air-core transformer. It has no resonance whatsoever, all the values are completely random, the field is WAY too small, the frequency is WAY too low for any resonance to occur, the output is miserable, and the entire thing is just bodged together. 550 turns on the secondary is completely wrong, too. Even my tiny coils require about twice that much to even start resonating, and those are driven by high-frequency self-oscillating circuits, because getting such a small SGTC to operate in resonance is nearly impossible. Please upvote this so people don't get mislead. +Ludic Science Put up a warning annotation on this video please, this is by no means a resonant circuit. If you'd like to prove me otherwise(I'm not trying to be aggressive), please measure it's resonant frequency using a practical device, not calculus.
