13. jamn610 - Is there any substitute for the ferrite core? Or should I use only the ferrite core? And BTW I couldn't fetch magnetic wire, can i use the wire from a motor instead of a relay?

16. CroPyrotechnic - Hello! I got green 5mm LED, 2N2222A metal can transistor, 22k ohm resistor, tesla coil,9 volt battery, and the circuit doesn't work.

18. Stu B - Thanks Ludic for sharing this. It inspired me an my mates to recreate your circuit then boost it with larger secondary, copper tube primary, higher rated transistor and high voltage DC supply for university project. We can get a carona and now put audio through it using a mosfet as a controled interrupter switch. The secondary feedback makes this circuit unique and the blocking oscillator concept is cool to think of. Great stuff!
19. lentruthbtold riv - To: ludic science, hi, im trying to make that same tesla, is it important to use the teflon on the ceramic!? Also, for the primary I'm using a double wire from an old sony double tape and cd changer, well the double wire came from where the plug cord connects too, anyhow my question is, is it better just to wrap a single wire around it?
