Sinopsis:
Drama korea Descendants of the Sun ini akan bercerita tentang kisah cinta antara 2 lead yang sengaja menceburkan diri kedaerah daerah bencana untuk menyelamatkan nyawa orang lain sebagai bagian dari "Doctors Without Borders". Drama ini juga akan mengambarkan tentang pengorbanan mereka dalam situasi putus asa.
Selain itu, drama Descendants of the Sun juga akan di warnai dengan kisah cinta antara Kapten Kim Shi Jin (diperankan oleh Song jong ki) yang termasuk dalam pasukan perdamaian PBB dan Dokter Kang Mo Yeon (diperankan oleh Song Hye Kyo). Karena permintaan PBB, mereka ditempatkan di ibukota negara lain yang berada dalam becana tersebut.
